Ancient Symbols Long Coin Dangle Necklace
Cast from authentic Israeli coins that are no longer legal tender, this necklace captures a wealth of historical images, each with its own lasting meaning. The largest coin (1 Israeli Pound), was originally issued in 1967. This coin depicts three pomegranates and the Menorah on the face side of the coin. The pomegranate is the ancient symbol of righteousness. The Menorah is the emblem of Israel. The medium size coin (Israeli 5 Sheqalim), depicts the Horn of Plenty and the Menorah on the face side of the coin. The Horn of Plenty is the ancient symbol of abundance often used on coins throughout the ancient world. The smallest coin (Israeli ½ Sheqalim) depicts the "Lion of Megiddo" and the Menorah, on the face side of the coin. The Lion is a blessing of Strength. All three coins described above are used in our long coin dangle necklace. Measuring 36 inches long, the coin charms gently move with the wearer. Suspended from a delicate brass chain, with a soft 18k gold finish, this is a light and easy choice for every day wear. Made in America.
